Coastline

The Cape Cod coastline in the US is dramatic and very beautiful in all weather. I’m lucky enough to have visited a few times and love to paint there.

This painting ‘Coastline’ is near where the original Cape Cod Marconi Wireless Station was situated in the early 20th century. That area was eroded by the sea and the Station moved up to Chatham where it can still be visited today – it is now the Chatham Marconi Maritime Center.

‘Coastline’ was featured in my exhibition this March ‘Perspectives: Seeing Cape Cod National Seashore through Art’ – part of a series of exhibitions on this theme held in the welcoming Salt Pond Visitor Center.

I will be uploading the paintings from this exhibition soon in the Gallery section.
