Clare Island Lighthouse

The walk out to the lighthouse on Clare Island is a real pleasure, inspired after reading the wonderful book by lighthouse keeper and Clare Island native Jackie O’ Grady, ‘Green Road to the Lighthouse’. So I packed up my paints and materials, took the ferry out from Roonagh in Mayo and enjoyed a great day painting on the island.
