Traditional Boats Sailing

This painting depicts a timeless scene of boats sailing in the bay…..just like annual Summer Regattas. The Galway Hooker is a traditional sail boat, always a beautiful sight. They were used to bring cargo to and from the islands and harbours of the west of Ireland.
